Accessibility
All OSL’s buses are low-floor buses, most of which include an accessibility platform that eases boarding and getting off-board. If you need the platform, your escort will lay it down for you.
If you are mobility impaired, we suggest boarding and getting off the bus through the middle door. However, if you travel with an assistance dog, we suggest boarding through the front door.
Wheelchair users
If you use an electric wheelchair, please note that the platform can withstand weights up to 300 kg. The combined weight of the wheelchair and its user must not exceed 300 kg. The bus line operator’s liability insurance covers damages up to 300 kg. In case the accessibility platform is broken due to exceeding the weight limit, customer is liable for the damages.
Travels with an assistance dog
Behind the driver’s seat there is a place reserved for those traveling with an assistance dog. In some of the buses there is a separate exit button for a longer exit, so that the doors stay open longer than usual and there is more time to leave with the dog.
Improving the accessibility
When a transportation contract ends, we include new improvement criteria in all new contracts.
You may give us feedback about accessibility online or by phone through our customer service.
